After qualifying from the Parsons School of Design in New York, he began his advertising career at Chillingworth Radding Inc.in Manhattan.

 

In 1986 he returned to Italy and joined J. Walter Thompson, where he worked on a series of campaigns for Kodak, De Beers, Dr Martins, Panasonic, and Clear.

He develops considerable experience within a number of prominent Italian agencies: Pirella Goettsche Lowe, B.J.K.E.  and McCann-Erickson.

In 1992 he won the outstanding Cannes Grand Prix award with a Levi’s print campaign.

 

In 1998 he became Associate Creative Director on main client like: Unilever ice creams, Deutsche Bank , U.P.S., Bertolli olive oil, Stella Artoise, Motorola.

In 2002  he joined Publicis both as Creative Director and  with the challenging role of “Head of Art” overlooking the creative work of the whole agency from an art direction point of view. 

His main clients were, Whirlpool, Nestlè ice creams, Sanofi, Renault, Tuborg, Nicoletti sofas, Flou designer beds.

In 2005 he developed an award winning 360°communication project for Hewlett Packard: the launch of Hype as a new brand with cultural connotations.

 

He was also Vice President of the Italian Art Directors Club and took part in many international jury processes.

 

In 2009 he opened up Blacklab.  As a communication consultant he worked for Advertising agencies as well as direct clients. 

In Hi! Comunicazione it’s worth mentioning his role as Co-Creative Director for the 2015 relaunch campaign of Amaro Lucano, featuring Oscar nominated Milena Canonero as film director.  Mondadori, Ragno,  Agos, Corriere della Sera, Spontex are some of brands he was involved with.

 

In 2019, with Rachele Proli, he opens up The Lab, keen on developing brand building communication projects.
